Malolos stages Santo Niño exhibit
CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – The 50th annual Santo Niño de Malolos Grand Exhibit in Bulacan has staged an impressive array of Santo Niño images, each adorned in unique themes that reflect the rich cultural tapestry and deep-rooted devotion of the Filipino people.
Visitors of the exhibit will also have the opportunity to behold and witness Bulakenyo products and cuisine with the 74 exhibitors at the Tatak Bulakenyo Buffex Trade Fair organized by the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office and the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry from January 16 to 23.
The festival not only honors this sacred icon but also features a grand procession of over 200 Santo Niño images, each depicting various aspects of the Holy Child, from traditional representations to imaginative interpretations.
The diverse collection underscores the enduring significance of the Santo Niño in Filipino culture and its role as a unifying symbol of faith.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando officially opened the festivities, emphasizing the Santo Niño's vital role in the lives of Filipinos and Bulakenyos.
"The representation of the Child Jesus in various forms reminds us that the Kingdom of God welcomes all—regardless of age or background,” Fernando said.
The Santo Niño de Malolos Grand Exhibit runs from January 17 to 24, 2025, at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium. Visitors are invited to experience this inspiring celebration of faith, culture, and community, making it a must-see event for both locals and tourists alike.
