'Game of Thrones' star Iain Glen joins Filipino biopic 'Quezon'

Scottish actor Iain Glen, renowned for his portrayal of Jorah Mormont in HBO's "Game of Thrones," has joined the cast of TBA Studios' forthcoming historical biopic, "Quezon."

Glen will depict Leonard Wood, a U.S. Army major and former Governor-General of the Philippines, who played a pivotal role in President Manuel L. Quezon's pursuit of Philippine independence.

With Romnick Sarmenta as Vice President Sergio Osmeña, Karylle Yuzon as First Lady Aurora Quezon, and Jericho Rosales as President Quezon, Glen will be part of the esteemed cast.

TBA Studios' President and COO Daphne Chiu is excited by Glen's participation, saying it shows off the talent of Filipino filmmakers and increases the production size of the movie.

Meanwhile, the production is set to begin in March, with plans for both domestic and international distribution.
