Nadine Lustre transforms into ‘Mother Earth’ for PETA Campaign

Actress and singer Nadine Lustre has taken on the role of "Mother Earth" in a bold new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Lustre shared that the campaign included multiple concepts, with one set to be revealed later this year. She explained that Team PETA suggested the striking body paint look to promote a clear message: "Go vegan, Pilipinas!"

Embracing a striking body-painted look, Lustre passionately advocates for veganism in the Philippines, reflecting her deep commitment to environmental conservation and animal rights.

When asked if it was challenging to get people to understand her advocacy, Lustre acknowledged that it took time and patience.

“To be honest, mayroong times na hindi naman mahirap. Parang I understand naman na we’ve been conditioned a certain way. Like even I was like that. So parang it takes a lot of adjustments lang and a bit more understanding. But I guess if I’m very vocal about my advocacies and I post a lot about it, eventually, people accept it,” Lustre stated.

Having adopted a vegan lifestyle since 2022, Lustre emphasizes that transitioning to plant-based living is a gradual process, encouraging those interested to make the change at their own pace.
