BDO unveils new website, cuts transfer fee to 10 pesos
MANILA, Philippines - BDO Unibank has launched a new website and reduced its InstaPay fund transfer fee to ₱10 per transaction.
The said new online platform offers free BDO-to-BDO transfers and increased PESONet transfer limits, wherein the enhanced security features also include SMS One-Time Password (OTP) and push confirmations via the BDO Online app.
Additionally, the "Advanced Card Management" feature enables customers to lock or unlock cards and set daily transaction limits. The modernized interface aims to improve user experience and complements BDO's existing digital banking services.
With this, BDO reported a net income of ₱82 billion in 2024—a 12% increase from ₱73.4 billion in 2023.
This growth was driven by a 13% rise in loans across all segments, surpassing industry averages, while the bank's non-performing loan ratio decreased to 1.83%.
