BCDA develops central biz district in Clark
MANILA, Philippines—The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is developing a 100-hectare Clark Central Business District (CBD) within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, which is set to be completed by 2026.
The Clark CBD, positioned as a modern commercial and lifestyle center, seeks to support the development of Tarlac's New Clark City and raise the Philippines' level of competitiveness in the ASEAN economy.
Additionally, the site provides easy access to key transportation hubs, such as the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and Clark International Airport, increasing its appeal and convenience for both domestic and foreign enterprises.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. inspected the P8.28 billion One Clark Boulevard in 2024, which cut travel time between Clark International Airport and New Clark City to 20 minutes.
The Clark CBD which is expected to be completed by 2026, targets to generate over 170,000 jobs and boost economic growth in the region.
