Ramon Tulfo Claims Bulacan Gov. Beaten After Alleged NLEX Incident
A controversial claim made by columnist Ramon Tulfo has stirred online buzz after he alleged that Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando was physically assaulted by a high-ranking official following a supposed road incident along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).
In a social media post, Tulfo claimed that Fernando has reportedly kept a low public profile in recent days due to facial injuries allegedly sustained during the incident.
According to Tulfo, citing an unnamed source he referred to as his “tweety bird,” the governor was allegedly punched multiple times by an official whom he did not identify. The columnist also alleged that the confrontation stemmed from an earlier encounter involving the convoy of the governor and a vehicle reportedly linked to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s son, William Vincent “Vinni” Marcos.
Tulfo further claimed that Fernando’s security personnel supposedly pointed firearms at Marcos’ vehicle after it overtook the governor’s convoy along the expressway.
He also alleged that the governor later apologized to the President through a letter, and that Marcos was unaware of the alleged physical altercation.
As of this writing, neither the Office of the Governor of Bulacan nor Malacañang has issued an official statement confirming or denying the claims made by Tulfo.
Authorities have yet to verify the details of the incident, and no formal complaint related to the alleged altercation has been publicly disclosed.
