Ex-Sen. Bong Revilla files counter-affidavit over flood control scandal

After a while of not being seen in public, former Senator Bong Revilla resurface as he files a counter-affidavit before the Department of Justice (DOJ) in regards with his name being connected to the flood control scandal. 

Revilla hastily exited the four walls of the office after signing in witness of the prosecutors, ignoring the media and not giving a single word.

On his behalf, Atty. Francesca Señga, lawyer of the former Senator, conveyed a message for the press, saying, “maliban sa counter affidavit ay nagsumite si Mr. Revilla ng mga ebidensiya na magpapatunay na lahat ng nilalaman ng alegasyon, akusasyon at reklamo laban sa kanya ay pawang kasinungalingan at kasinungalingan lamang,”

One out of five of the irregularities, from the flood control scheme, submitted to the DOJ links Revilla to the company SYMS Construction.

“Umaasa si Mr. Revilla na magiging patas ang Department of Justice at titingnan niya ang ebidensiya at hindi na paaabutin ang reklamong ito sa korte,” Señga says.
