Ben Tulfo: Populist Champion or Politically Silent?

MANILA, Philippines - Senatorial candidate Ben Tulfo emphasized his commitment to addressing the real challenges faced by the populace, choosing to focus on pragmatic solutions over political discourse.

In a recent interview following his campaign's kick-off rally, Tulfo declined to comment on alleged budget insertions in the 2025 national budget, stating, "I prefer to discuss true events, true people, true challenges, true problems, and the true solutions needed."

He further remarked that political issues often resolve themselves and expressed his desire to ensure his message resonates with the common people.

Tulfo, an independent candidate and seasoned broadcaster known for his program "Bitag," is vying for a Senate seat alongside his brother, ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo. Their sibling, Raffy Tulfo, currently serves as a senator.

Recent surveys indicate that both Ben and Erwin are among the leading contenders in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
