Lalamove enters ride-hailing market with 'Lalamove Ride'

MANILA, Philippines - Lalamove has officially expanded into the ride-hailing sector with the launch of "Lalamove Ride" on February 10.

This new service is integrated into the existing Lalamove application, offering users two vehicle options—a four-seater sedan and a six-seater SUV.

Initially available in Metro Manila and Pampanga, Lalamove Ride aims to provide commuters with an additional transportation alternative.

It ensures passenger safety with a 24/7 in-app chat, stricter driver registration, and real-time location sharing.

The service also includes accident insurance from Chubb and an SOS button for emergencies.

Lalamove Ride offers cash and e-wallet payment options with transparent pricing and no hidden charges.

This expansion strengthens Lalamove’s market position, directly competing with established ride-hailing services like Grab.
