DJI unveils RS 4 Mini: Lightweight Gimbal with Heavyweight Performance
DJI, a leader in drone and camera technology, has introduced the DJI RS 4 Mini—a compact gimbal weighing 890 grams (under 2 pounds) with a payload capacity of up to 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds).
The device is designed for content creators seeking efficient filming solutions wherein, it features automated axis locks for rapid setup, an intelligent tracking module for autonomous subject tracking, and a Teflon coating to enhance balancing.
The gimbal also supports swift transitions to vertical shooting, catering to various filming needs. DJI's product experience director Ferdinand Wolf, highlighted the company's commitment to advancing imaging technology, stating that the Ronin Series continues to democratize technology for broader applications. The RS 4 Mini Combo, which comes with a briefcase handle and the RS Intelligent Tracking Module, costs $459, while the single gimbal costs $369.
