VP Sara Camp Says ‘Mary Grace Piattos’ Identity to Be Revealed in Impeachment Trial

The legal team of Vice President Sara Duterte said they are prepared to disclose the real identity of the controversial figure known as “Mary Grace Piattos” if an impeachment trial against the Vice President proceeds in the Senate.

In a media interview, Atty. Michael Poa, spokesperson of Duterte’s defense team, stressed that they have long maintained that their side would address all accusations in the proper forum, particularly during an impeachment trial.

Poa also reiterated that details involving confidential funds are typically not made public to avoid compromising sensitive government operations. However, he said the defense may present such information if it becomes part of the formal impeachment proceedings.

According to Poa, the camp is already preparing for the possibility that the case will move forward, signaling that they are ready to confront the allegations head-on.

He assured that the defense will answer all accusations against the Vice President and aims to show that the criticisms being thrown at her have no factual basis.
