Davao among slowest cities worldwide

MANILA, Philippines - Davao City ranks third in the 2024 Tomtom Traffic Index among 500 cities worldwide for traffic congestion levels.

This is equivalent to an annual loss of 136 hours, or nearly six days, due to traffic jams.

Davao City also landed eighth on the list of the world’s slowest cities, where traveling a mere 10 kilometers takes an average of 32 minutes and 59 seconds.

Meanwhile, Manila and Caloocan ranked 14th and 26th respectively.
