BCDA, South Korean Firms to develop P4.8-B housing in New Clark City

CLARK, Pampanga - The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has partnered with a consortium of South Korean and local firms to develop a 6.1-hectare affordable housing complex in New Clark City, Tarlac.

The project, valued at P4.8 billion, involves Saekyung Realty Corp., Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corp. (KIND), and Sta. Clara International Corp. (SCIC), which aims to provide 3,320 residential units across 12 high-density buildings, with 2,600 units available for sale and 720 units allocated to the government's Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang highlighted the project’s potential to create jobs, attract investments, and boost economic growth in Central Luzon.

The said housing complex will include green spaces, parks, road networks, and drainage systems, supporting sustainable urban development.

Located within the 9,450-hectare Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, the development is expected to boost housing and investment in the region.
